This product is a versatile, pellet, parrot food formula suitable for medium and large birds during their non-reproductive stage. It has been formulated to meet the maintenance nutritional requirements of birds during this stage.

Recommended daily intake ranges between 5 and 12 % of your bird's body weight in medium-sized species (like the African grey parrot).

It is designed to constitute 100% of the parrot's diet. However, if fresh fruit and vegetables are offered daily to give variety to their diet, we recommend that Psittacus should constitute no less then 70-80% of the overall diet by weight. No vitamin or mineral supplements should be given to parrots whose staple food is Psittacus Parrot Maintenance.

We also suggest that birds have available Psittacus Calcium Grit Coarse as a calcium source. Birds can regulate their calcium intake according to their needs. Birds should always have plenty of fresh, clean water available.

Once the package is open, store in an airtight container in a dry, cool place.
